Weekly Giveaway: Saved By Grace Designs!

I am admittedly envious this week! In fairness, I don't enter the giveaways, but I must say, this week I'm wishing I could! Not that I haven't wanted all the products we've given away, but this one I really need right now! I can almost feel the warmth of this hot/cold "Cheery Pack" made from cherry pits, relieving the stress and loosening the tension in my neck~ (ooooh, aahhhhh......)
But I digress (Hmmm? Rhymes with stress, lol)~

First, back to the busy~ness at hand: The winner of last week's Giveaway from Mutti! Lots of entries, 38 to be exact! And fortunately for me, Random.org picked our winner~
#7- Diana Dang
Congratulations, Diana! And thank you, Linda from Mutti, for sponsoring our Giveaway!

And now~ This Week's Giveaway (drum roll, please)

From Saved by Grace Designs!

Here's a little about Andrea, in her own words~

"I first came across the idea of using cherry pits in a heating pad when I was out on a trip to British Columbia, a number of years ago. Then, a few years ago, my husband and I picked several pounds of cherries. As I was pitting them, I recalled the cherry pit pack I bought for my parents as a souvenir and decided to see if I could come up with something similar. The experiment was successful (and became a birthday gift for my husband) and the rest is history.

I love using cherry pits because they reuse a part of the cherry that might otherwise be thrown away, the entire pack can be composted whenever its useful life is over and, with a food shortage in many countries, it does not use a critical food source such as beans or rice. I've also discovered that my children enjoy helping me fill the Cheery Packs, which is an extra bonus because I feel they can be a part of this business as well."

About Me...
I love to make products that are useful, beautiful and as eco-friendly as possible and use simple, yet pleasing, packaging. Every time I make a sale, I get and thrill of excitement and pray that the person who purchased the item gets much enjoyment from it. With an ever increasing fabric pile, I'm also on the hunt for ideas to use almost every scrap of it and suspect much of these scraps will end up as a quilt someday. :)

Another thing close to my heart is the ability to use this business to help others - especially women and children. Currently, I am donating 20% of the sales from my shop (less the shipping costs and any applicable tax) to Charity: Water which helps bring clean and safe water to people in developing countries.

The "Green Grass" Cheery Pack for this giveaway is make from 100% cotton fabric in a batik print of white polka dots on green background. The pack measures approximately 17" x 4" and was created in a smoke-free, pet-free home.

It might be a little early in the year to think of using this as a hot pack (although it's great for warming toes on cold winter nights), but if you put it in the freezer for at least one hour, it can help keep you cool in the summer.

*Please NOTE: Important Safety Considerations. WARNING – DO NOT OVERHEAT. Heating the Cheery Pack for no more than one minute twenty seconds (1 min 20 sec) on a microwave’s high setting will offer soothing heat relief. Overheating could damage the Cheery Pack, your microwave and/or your skin. Always check the temperature before use. To avoid injury, do not place heated Cheery Pack directly on bare skin. Never heat a Cheery Pack in a conventional oven or convection oven. Do not use directly on infants or leave children unattended while heating or using a Cheery Pack. Cherry pits can be a choking hazard. If you have any medical conditions or are sensitive to heat, please consult your doctor before using.
