Upcycled Linky Party {30}

Well good Monday morning y'all!  I'm just back from a weekend long road trip from the South to Connecticut and back again.  I'm tired.  It's Monday. So a party is just the thing to perk me up, don't you think?

Last week's party was great fun and I found the DIY Loom Box from Green Issues by Agy to be a nifty little treasure that I just have to give a whirl.  I can't wait to whip up some T-shirt yarn coasters!

And while we're on the subject of T-shirts.  Holy cow, did you see this bit of artwork made from a worn out T-shirt?  What a great way to preserve some memories, check out the DIY on Buttons and Paint!

And this week's shop feature comes from Our Children's Earth and is definitely something that I wish I had with me on road trip up North this weekend.  Folks, it's cold up there!

Upcyclers Creativity Challenge: October Results

October's challenge was full of fun!  Stephanie from OurChildrensEarth challenged us to upcycle broken or unwanted Halloween decorations for this month Upcyclers Creativity Challenge!

This is an amazing way to recycle old wax from Halloween that most people would throw away. I have never seen this done before. What an original, creative and super cute way to make our world a better place.  You can view Alison's excellent blog post HERE!

Second Place Winner: MaryJeansThings

What a great way to use old Halloween catalogs. Most people will throw these away after the season but I love that they were saved and recycled for the next year. These are beautiful and colorful. What a fun idea to use for parties or family get togethers.
